Profoundry is a Scotland-based digital advertising micro-agency made up of experienced PPC Consultants led by founder Col Skinner. Together, we provide proactive PPC and Paid Social services that help businesses grow through smarter, data-driven advertising.
Profoundry began in 2014 when, after 7 years agency side, Col Skinner decided to take control of his working life and launch an independent PPC consultancy. The business focused on delivering effective, honest, and hands-on digital ad support to ambitious brands.
After several years helping agencies and in-house teams, Col realised that there was an untapped business model that could massively benefit clients. This hybrid model combines the agile flexibility of freelancers with the proven strategic process of an agency. Col then built a network of trusted PPC specialists who shared the same practical, no-nonsense approach to paid advertising. These senior UK consultants all come from an agency background and specialise solely in all things paid media. Profoundry now brings that collective expertise together under one banner, with all elements overseen by Col.

I’m often asked why ‘Profoundry’ as a brand name? I chose it for the range of terms the brand name incorporates within:
The Profoundry type and cog are hint back to Manchester, where I founded the business, and it’s industrial past. Whilst the cursor arrow within the cog represents the Digital industry.
I am now based in Aberdeen centre working out of a relaxed and professional office space in Neospace, by the River Dee. I am surrounded by a vibrant community of like-minded entrepreneurs, coffee shops and eateries.
