Beehive Lofts, Fifth Floor,
I am based in a co-working space called Beehive Lofts on the Fifth Floor of Beehive Mill, a grade two listed building at the heart of Ancoats. I’m surrounded by a healthy mix of creative enterprises, great coffee shops and fine eateries.
Walk out of the main front entrance of the station, and proceed approx. 400 metres until you reach Piccadilly Gardens. Turn right at the Nationwide Building Society, and follow Lever Street until you reach the 4 lanes of Great Ancoats St at the end. Cross over the traffic lights and walk up to the large wooden door of Virginia House, opposite the Frog and Bucket and next door to the Crown and Kettle pub.
Leaving the Victoria onto Corporation Street (next to the large, glass Urbis building), turn right for a short while, and then left onto Withy Grove (running between the Arndale Centre and The Printworks. Follow this road round, then turn right onto Thomas Street, which lies opposite Shudehill Coach and Bus Station. Continue for 100 metres, before turning left onto Oldham St. Walk down Oldham St until you reach the 4 lanes of Great Ancoats St at the end. Cross over the traffic lights and find the large wooden door of Virginia House, opposite the Frog and Bucket and next door to the Crown and Kettle pub.
Leave the motorway at Junction 21a, and follow the M62 East towards Manchester. Continue straight onto the M602 and follow this until the end of the motorway, heading straight onto the A57. This road joins Mancunian Way, which circles the City Centre. Continue round following signs towards Manchester Arena, Victoria Station and Oldham/Rochdale. Travel down Great Ancoats street, passing the retail parks on both sides (Aldi, Argos, Mothercare) and the set of traffic lights at Newton Street. The next set of Traffic lights you will come to a set of traffic lights at Oldham Street, turn left down Oldham St. About 100 yds on your left you will see a SiP Car Park in a gap between the buildings before Warwick St.
Travelling along the M62 West, continue onto the M60 West (signposted Preston, Salford, Bolton), and depart the motorway at Junction 17, taking the first exit onto A56 Bury New Road. Follow this road for just over 4 miles into Manchester City Centre, turning left onto A6042 New Bridge Street, which runs past the Phones4U Arena. Head right across Victoria Bridge and follow the City Centre ring road (signposted Piccadilly) onto Great Ancoats Street. Once there, turn right onto Oldham Street, and then immediately right onto Houldsworth Street. Follow this, heading across Lever Street, and it will bring you out to the back entrance to Oldham St SiP Car Park.
There is a handy pay-and-display car park about 20 meters from the office down on Oldham St and operated by SIP. There rates are as follows:
There is also roadside parking available via pay-and-display meters on Newton Street, Thomas Street, or Dale Street. Where you can pay by phone or cash.
